September 2008: Sacramento CERT Conference.
The SHARP volunteers helped out with communications during the 2008 CERT Training Conference.
I was attached to a group of U.S. Naval Sea Cadets who were volunteering through TEEN CERT. I acted as the communications shadow while they engaged in their rescue mission.
This training conference was centered around swiftwater and floodwater rescue scenarios.
